A big night in volleyball
We've got a big night in store tonight for volleyball. The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team looks to head into playoffs with a two-match winning streak as they travel to Royalton to conclude the Central Minnesota Conference schedule.
Eyes will also be on the Eden Valley-Watkins at Paynesville Area match tonight. While the Bulldogs have fallen out of the CMC title race, they have huge motivation to win, as it is essentially a battle for the No. 1 or No. 2 playoff seed in Sub-Section 3AA-North. The defending sub-section champion Bulldogs have a shot at the No. 1 seed. The top three seeds will shake out (not in any particular order) with Paynesville, New London-Spicer and EV-W in the mix. For B-B-E, the Jaguars need Paynesville to win tonight in order to give our team a share of the CMC title.
More to come later **updates to follow from Paynesville!!
**Paynesville's volleyball team has won the first set 25-12 against visiting Eden Valley-Watkins! More updates to follow.
GAME TWO final score: Paynesville Area 25, EV-W 21.
