Due to the oncoming snow storm, the girls' basketball game at home tonight with Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City has been postponed to Friday, January 13.
That's all I've gotten a handle on so far. I think we have an interesting day ahead of us.
**Update at 11:19 a.m.: the forecast has now changed from 5 to 8 inches coming today down to 3 to 5 inches for the immediate Bonanza Valley area.
**UPDATE as of 11:23 a.m.: it was just announced that B-B-E schools will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. today. Please drive safely today if you are out and about! I am waiting to hear about the status of tonight's special school board meeting,

**UPDATE - announcement on Tuesday night...B-B-E schools will open two hours late for Wednesday, January 4. That's what we know for now. HOPEfully this clears up and they can get back in school tomorrow morning.
Tuesday night late update: two new members were sworn into the B-B-E school board tonight. It is a grand achievement and a special occasion when I see former B-B-E students join the board of directors! Class of 2006 graduate Megan Jenniges and Class of 2007 graduate Ashley Rath are the new board members. This is exciting! The meeting was conducted via Zoom due to the weather. Yes, in case you were wondering, I recorded it. Like I tend to record everything I'm at!!
