Volleyball awards coming and more
The upcoming newspaper issue will feature a story with 2023 volleyball season awards. The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team had another terrific year this fall and ended up with a robust 20 percent hitting mark as a team. Anything 20 or higher as a team is really, really good. From the serving line, the Jaguars had a serving percentage of 91.2 percent, also an excellent mark.
Shifting to winter...coming up soon is the season opener for the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team. They travel to Melrose on Tuesday night to face the Dutchmen.
Both the dance team and wrestling team get their 2023-2024 seasons underway on Friday night. The dance team is at Minnewaska, while the wrestlers travel to Melrose.
The Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper's SmugMug photo gallery with fall sports pictures has had more updates in the past week. I'd rate it now "90 percent" caught up on the fall varsity sports teams. The latest album added was from U.S. Bank Stadium in the state football semifinals. You can see all the albums by clicking here: https://bonanzavalley.smugmug.com/B-B-E-Fall-Sports-2023.
