Fifth straight loss
It goes without saying that they are in a rough patch right now.
Facing two-time defending Central Minnesota Conference champion Holdingford, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team suffered a 62-40 loss last night on the home floor. Additional information on the game was published in the January 4 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
The Jaguars (5-6) look to get back in the win column when they travel to Eden Valley-Watkins this week Friday. The Eagles picked up a 56-41 border battle win against visiting Kimball Area last night to improve to 3-7 overall.
I'm still playing catch up on countless work matters. This blog post will get a full update late on Wednesday night.
Central MN Conference girls' basketball scores on January 2:
Eden Valley-Watkins 56, Kimball Area 41
Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 56, Paynesville Area 54 (this was a big win for the Falcons)
Royalton 65, Maple Lake 32
