A memory-filled Hall of Fame banquet (VIDEOS)

The B-B-E schools Hall of Fame ceremony took place tonight for the induction of the Class of 2024 nominees. All eight nominees, who span multiple generations across Brooten, Belgrade and B-B-E school history. The oldest nominee is Wes Von Eschen, Brooten Class of 1964. The youngest is Brian Goodwin, B-B-E Class of 2014. That covers a span of 50 years! The evening was remarkable and full of the reminiscing of many fun, heartfelt memories.

Here's retired Coach Kevin Weller giving his speech tonight at Olson Auditorium:

Coach Weller led the volleyball program from 2007 to 2018 as its head coach. Four of his teams won section titles and competed at the Class 1A state tournament

Here's a video from last night recorded prior to Friday Night Lights V:

I failed to write about this last night...and I will write about it again! This is incredible! We had the largest Homecoming crowd that B-B-E has ever seen. It was incredible to see all the fans line up along the fence on the north side of the stadium. Upsala/Swanville Area also had a huge contingent of fans - which is no surprise. They have a great football following wherever they go!

In other news...I've got more uploaded to the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper's fall sports albums...click here to see what's there: https://bonanzavalley.smugmug.com/BBE-Fall-Sports-2024.

From Monday afternoon's tennis action through Saturday night's Hall of Fame banquet, my main camera took over 1,300 pictures. Good Grief!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday! High of 79 degrees in the forecast...after that, it appears we'll see more fall weather next week but also one day of 80 degrees (Wednesday). Our family garden is winding down. What's left alive in your garden? We've got zucchini, squash, green peppers, kale, watermelon, tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers still going strong.
