338 pictures **And volleyball ticket sales
Oh, man, did I bury myself on Saturday. I just checked the camera card: 338 pictures taken on Saturday afternoon at the football game. Now the uphill climb begins for picking what gets published in the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper! Oh, boy!
I'm also working on a cross country story on senior Taylor Nelson, who was a leader at the Section 6A meet on the Paynesville/B-B-E boys' cross country squad. In last Thursday's state qualifier, Nelson missed advancing to the state cross country meet by just two places. It was a heartbreaking end to what was a short but outstanding cross country career.
Football and volleyball are clearly, and with good reason, the big talk of the community this week. We have two big match ups ahead of us for both teams! Have you made your plans yet for carpooling to Fergus Falls tomorrow night?
More to come tonight. Soon it's time to get ready for the B-B-E Music Boosters Halloween Spooktacular!
BIG announcement for volleyball fans:
Ticket sales are online only. Which I absolutely despise...but I am powerless to change that. So, for the Tuesday volleyball match in Fergus Falls, you have to go to this website and purchase whatever tickets you need: https://gofan.co/event/2039633?schoolId=MN16848. Adults are $10, and students are $5 each.
Here's a video from game 2 of the subsection semifinals last Friday:
Time to order tickets.
