A sunny, hot Friday (VIDEO)

The B-B-E Jaguars baseball team is hosting the first day of the Max Bats Wood Bats Invitational. The varsity team is set to play Brandon-Evansville at about 7 p.m. at in Elrosa. It's a HUGE game, as the Chargers enter the contest with an 11-1 overall record and a No. 3 ranking (QRF) in Sub-Section 6A-North. The Jaguars (8-4) have climbed to No. 1 in the Sub-Section 6A-South standings.

Earlier in the day, starting at 4:30 p.m., Browerville face Hancock in the invitational's opening game at Saints Field.

The high temperature reached towards 85 degrees today. Wow! As of 7 p.m., it is 80 degrees in Brooten.

Here's a video from back on April 24 in the home opener:

That video was recorded in the bottom of the 5th inning against Royalton.

The Jaguars are still gunning for the No. 1 seed in Sub-Section 6A-South. They need to continue this winning streak to keep such hopes alive.
