Spring sports have concluded...almost! (VIDEO)
There's a few loose ends to button up for the spring 2025 season in Jaguar Country. This mostly includes post-season banquets and awards. Last Wednesday, the varsity and JV fastpitch teams held their banquet at the high school. Coverage to follow.
The B-B-E Jaguars baseball team postseason awards haven't been announced yet. The state tournament was just held last week, and it concluded with championship games on Saturday at Target Field. In some cases, state tournament games were rained out. This included the Class 1A third-place game featuring Section 6A champion Parkers Prairie.
I still have video to wrap up, and some will be posted. I just found a short clip on one camera that is posted here.
Here's action from the baseball team's playoff opener held almost three weeks ago:
Youth sports are all underway for the summer. The baseball team's 12-U squad hosts Willmar tonight at 6:15 p.m. at the high school fields. A new blog post will be added tonight.
