The B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team battled from beginning to end and came away with a hard-fought 4-3 win last Friday against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Upsala-Swanville Area. The match was scheduled as the first of two for Friday, with Staples-Motley also coming to town to face both teams. For the second year in a row, however, rainfall nixed additional matches, so the Jaguars went home with the 1-0 record.

The Jaguars have a triangular in Melrose tomorrow (Thursday) starting at 2 p.m. The third team coming to town is Parkers Prairie.
