Volleyball wins 4th straight title at Crosby-Ironton (UPDATED, VIDEOS)
The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team won four matches today at the Crosby-Ironton Invitational to win their fourth straight title at this event. The Jaguars breezed past three opponents leading into the championship match. In the finals, the Jaguars faced undefeated Swanville and won in straight sets by scores of 25-23, 25-22.
Next: the Jaguars (10-4) travel to West Central Area high school in Barrett on Tuesday, September 16 for a non-conference match against the two-time defending Section 6A champion Knights. WCA is 5-4 overall and 1-3 in the West Central Conference.

I spent Friday night and Saturday focusing my time and energy (outside of getting football game notes) with a drive to Pepin, Wisconsin, for that town's two-day Laura Ingalls Wilder celebration. This is the second year I've taken in this event. It is well worth the time and expense! More on this will be published in the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
Now, for something fun during the difficult times our nation is enduring...
Here's Principal Trent Johnson leading the elementary school in the Pledge of Allegiance on the first day of school:
It's hard to believe that was nearly 3 weeks ago. The fall is moving too fast!

More to come. I've got a high volume of Pepin, Wisconsin video to work through.
The Terrace Mill held a thoroughly enjoyable Bluegrass Festival one week ago. I've got two videos posted at the newspaper's website from the High 48s performing. Click here to see that: https://shorturl.at/xUSdJ.
