Lots of projects

I seem to currently have about a hundred projects happening at one time right now. With a clear break in sports events until the winter seasons begin later in November, I have a lot of catching up to do on many different matters.

I recently completed what you see below after covering a visit by two politicians at the Eagle's Healing Nest veterans home in Sauk Centre and hearing more about the unacceptable situation unfolding with our V.A. system that in my opinion has abused untold numbers of veterans in our country in a systematic and unspeakable fashion.

I hope you and your family have a safe and enjoyable Halloween today and tonight. Take it easy!

Yesterday was Stand up to Bullying Day at B-B-E. Below is a photo of the high school student body and staff members gathered to honor the moment.

Here's the link at the Sauk Centre Herald website...I'm finally getting caught up on a lot of office work. (Now I'm only roughly one week behind.) If only our lawn could mow itself now...then I'd be in good shape.

Three state tournament trips. One runner-up finish. Two state titles! Gotta love it.

State championship game story posted

The Jaguars not playing in the final seconds of the game bolted from the bench at the buzzer to join the rest of the players in the celebratory post-game dogpile.

Just saw that Rushford-Peterson was no slouch offensively this season; they entered the state championship scoring an average of 70.1 points per game.

I am finally gonna get some sleep! Church is early tomorrow for our church family. Have you ever heard of a 100-hour work week? I just lived it.

Go ahead and share the link! It's a great video to take in tonight while we gather our energy for the state tournament.

I won't have a chance to add more photos or add links/content to Facebook until later tonight. Yes, I do have a day job, and I can't ignore that!

While you're here though, go ahead and log onto Facebook, search for "BBE Jaguars" and like the B-B-E Jaguars sports Facebook page. It gives more content/coverage that you won't want to miss out on.

Here's the direct link: https://www.facebook.com/BBEJaguars

And go 21 minutes into the clip http://saukherald.com/content/b-b-es-boys-basketball-state-pep-fest and check out the interesting dance moves by a number of staff members!

...and just for fun, check out this video from Halenbeck Hall at the SCSU campus on Saturday night:

Access to that type of material is one perk to the job while I also operate the Albany Huskies sports blog and Mainstreeters sports blog on top of this one.

By the way, Tuesday night's game in Pierz for our Jaguars girls' basketball team will be carried by The Train and Smooth Magic radio. Although I hope instead of listening to them that you can make the trip in person and cheer on our girls!

Our radio crews are a good Plan B, though, allowing you to cheer from home and enjoy all the action.
