Bombers Have Rough Second Round at Districts, Lose 6-0 to Cross Lake in Winner's Bracket Quarterfinal

The B-B-E Bombers American Legion team faced what I feel was the best team in the seven-team field, Cross Lake, today at Paynesville Area High School, and lost 6-0. They now will work to fight out of the loser's bracket, beginning on Friday at 12:30pm, again at Paynesville. They will face the winner of tonight's game in Regal between Kimball & Paynesville.

They played well until the top of the sixth inning, when three errors led to three unearned runs by Cross Lake. Meanwhile, they could not kickstart the offense and were limited to one hit at the plate.
