Jaguars Fall in "State" Consolation Semi-Finals, Finish Outstanding Season 27-5 Overall

It was a tough 3-0 loss to stomach for the team, after putting up a good battle with Mayer Lutheran yesterday. They put together a nice run near the end of game three, showing the large B-B-E crowd on hand just how strong their level of play could have been throughout the match.

It came too little, too late, however, and the Northern Freeze team advances to face the Wheaton Warriors in the consolation championship on Saturday morning.

The loss was difficult for the team, and it will take awhile to get over, no doubt. The seniors on the squad especially should take solace in knowing they played a huge part in getting the B-B-E volleyball program to the "next level"...where their off season work pays off with a trip to the Big Dance.

They know how to pile up the wins, including in Section tournament play, but have yet to master the formula for winning at the State tournament. It is two different creatures to battle, winning in the regular season, and then doing battle with Minnesota's best volleyball teams. The process of becoming one of the top volleyball programs in Minnesota continues.

The Jaguars will be welcomed home at the B-B-E High School on Sunday at 1:00.

See you there.
