You can also go to the following link in a web browser and it should open up Windows Media Player on your computer, then connecting to Glenwood's radio station.

On the radio station's website, at their sports page, scroll down slightly and you will see the following logo/icon =

If you click on that logo, you should have a "Windows Media Player" program load up on your computer. If you don't have that program downloaded, the broadcast may not work on your computer.

According to Dave McClurg, Magic 107's sports broadcaster, their studio told him last night that a record number of listeners were using this feature during yesterday's Jaguars volleyball state tournament match. Generally they have 3 or 4 people listening at a time to their internet streaming of athletic events, with perhaps a high of 10 on their "counter" that tracks how many people are plugged in on the internet. Yesterday their "counter" peaked at 42! That means 42 computers around the world (most probably in Minnesota) were tuned in to the Jaguars volleyball team as they picked up their first-ever state tournament win. Impressive indeed.

The jerks who run Forum Communications Company did it again, sinking to new lows by deleting my comment on the West Central Tribune blogging section under their story on the Jaguars' volleyball state tournament match. They do not want me promoting this option, listening to the match on the internet via Smooth Magic's radio station website, so they are repeatedly deleting my comments that explain this option to West Central Tribune readers. I'll say it again, Forum Communications of Fargo can take a flying leap out of a window!

I've also added a few photos to my Sauk Herald online photo gallery.

I want to take a moment to thank B-B-E area businesses who not only have spent advertising money on this sports website, but who have also spent advertising money with Glenwood's radio station as well. It's great to have this option for volleyball fans who can't make it down to "state" in person. Somehow I want to publish this in the local papers and make sure these business get credit for the support they give to the Jaguars athletic program. All of them are small businesses who aren't sitting on big profit margins by any means, so again we all need to give a big thanks to these small-town merchants for their support of B-B-E schools.
