Tonight, Tuesday night, tune in to 106.5FM "The Train" to listen to NL-S vs. Eden Valley-Watkins girls basketball

It is the season opener for both teams, a rivalry that dates back to the 1970s between two area girls basketball powers. They have met in the season opener since at least the mid-1990s, from my recollection.

Bill Dean and Don Leukam will provide the radio coverage, with pre-game beginning at about 7:15pm.

In another season opener, Sauk Centre is at Paynesville tonight in a West Central inter-conference clash. Beginning two seasons ago, Paynesville was switched to the South half of the WCC, with Sauk Centre remaining in the North half.
