In a home game tonight, the Jaguars girls basketball team fell to Pierz by a 60-52 score in a Central Minnesota Conference game. The Jaguars (1-9) host Paynesville on Monday night in a non-conference game. Pierz improves to 7-6 overall with the win and 3-2 in the CMC.
The Jaguars, who played only seven players in the game, built a 30-21 lead at halftime. The visiting Pioneers bombed without mercy from long range in the first two minutes of the second half, though, draining four three-point shots to regain control.
