In the premier matchup of the basketball season, NL-S whips Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, final score 89-68

It's ugly in New London.

I heard that a few minutes into the second half, NL-S led 60-35.

With about 8:00 left, the Wildcats led 74-50.

The state-rankings are living up to their billing tonight, as the Wildcats are ranked #1 in Class AA.

MA/CA has some work to do before they meet NL-S again.

**Out west at the University of Minnesota-Morris fieldhouse, the Hancock Owls girls basketball team (15-3) suffered only their third loss of the season in the Pheasant/Little Eight Conference shootout, falling by a 67-59 score to Parkers Prairie. Their 11-game winning streak was halted in the process.

Parkers Prairie improved to 18-1 overall.
