Jaguars girls golf competes in the first Central Minnesota Conference meet of the season, finishes in sixth place, only four strokes behind 4th

In their first meet of the season, the Jaguars girls golf team tallied a 227 in the six-team Central Minnesota Conference opener at the Osakis Country Club on Friday afternoon.

Peyton Miller, just a seventh grader, led the Jaguars with a score of 51. Junior Amy Knutson was right behind her with a 52.

Up next for the Jaguars girls golf team: a trip to the Kimball Invitational on Monday, April 12, which begins at 10:00am. Their next CMC meet is on Thursday, April 15, back at Kimball.

The April 12 invitational will be held at the Kimball Golf Course, including the teams of Annandale/Maple Lake, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, Dassel-Cokato, Delano, Glencoe-Silver Lake, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, Hutchinson, Litchfield, New London-Spicer, Paynesville Area, Pierz Healy, Rockford Area, and Saint John's Prep.
