Krebs, White pace the Jaguars track and field teams at Melrose Early Bird Invitational
Lennard Krebs approaches full stride after takeoff in the 200-meter sprint in Melrose on Thursday night. He finished as champion in the event with a time of 23.85 seconds.
Senior track sensation Lennard Krebs won championships in the 100- and 200-meter races with times of 11.71 and 23.85 seconds, respectively, at Thursday's Melrose Early Bird Invitational.
Junior Whitney White won the High Jump event with a best-jump of 4-feet, 6 1/4 inches.
Sophomore Erin Anderson was runner-up in the Shot Put with a best throw of 26 feet, 11 inches.
Full results for all Jaguars' track and field performers at Melrose will be posted later today, as well as more photos.

Freshmen Kelsey Heinsius takes off in the 200-meter sprint. She finished 5th (29.66 seconds) out of a field of 27 athletes.
Senior Eric Speldrich takes the first curve of the 200-meter sprint, on his way to a fifth-place finish (26.06 seconds) in a field of 18.
