Elrosa Saints win 10-0 in seven innings against visiting Farming in Stearns County League action

Elrosa's amateur baseball team was all smiles after a great day at the office today, defeating Farming 10-0 in seven innings of work.

The Elrosa Saints amateur baseball team won in shutout fashion over Farming in a Stearns County League game today, winning 10-0 in shortened innings on the home diamond.

The Saints (7-1 SCL-North) led 4-0 after three innings and then tacked on four runs in the bottom of the sixth to salt it away. Dustin Breitbach struck out the side in the top of the 7th to end the game early.

They now prepare for a home game against league rival Meire Grove next Sunday (June 13) at 1:30pm at Saints Field.

Richmond 7, Greenwald 0
Meire Grove 4, New Munich 1 (Grovers are back to .500 at 4-4)

In the Spring Hill/Roscoe game, Corey Schoenberg’s suicide squeeze with one out in the bottom of the 13th scored Eric Schoenberg with the winning run.

Also, this Friday night is the annual Stearns County League/Cornbelt League All-Star game, hosted by Ray Weber Field in St.Martin beginning at 8:15pm.
