More from Tuesday night's action on the basketball courts for the Jaguars

The Jaguars went up 18-14 with under seven minutes left in the first half against Melrose. Their lead did not last until halftime, though.

Both the girls and boys basketball teams will be in action again this week, in Central Minnesota Conference games. The girls travel to Eden Valley-Watkins on Thursday night, while the boys make the long trip to Rockford on Friday.

The Jaguars wrestling team is in action on Friday, when they host an 8-team tournament beginning at 3:30pm.

The Jaguars danceline team opens their 2011 season with the first competition of the year, at Alexandria, this Saturday at Jefferson High School. Read more on their squad further below as well as in this week's local newspapers.
