Jaguars fastpitch, baseball both suffer close losses - Girls' golf is 3rd at NL-S Invite

Fastpitch softball final: Sauk Centre 5, B-B-E 4.

The Jaguars fastpitch team (1-8) jumped out to an early 3-0 lead over the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters in a non-conference game today. The Streeters took advantage of some timely hitting and Jaguars' errors to plate five runs in the top of the sixth inning.

The Jaguars scored one run in the bottom of the seventh, but it was not enough to recover. Sauk Centre improved to 4-4 overall with the win.
