Halftime at UMM: B-B-E suffers a late flat tire but still leads 39-22

Though their level of play got sloppy in the final three minutes of the first half, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team holds a 39-22 lead over Battle Lake tonight at the break.

Prior to tip-off tonight at UM-Morris...


The first three minutes of the game were tense, as Billy Borgerding's first shot (the first shot by B-B-E) was tipped off the mark. Finally at the 16:45 mark, Brian Goodwin drained a three-pointer on the right wing to make it 3-0. Battle Lake responded with a three by Van Erp to tie it 3-3 at 16:10.
