Jaguar volleyball easily takes first two games at Howard Lake

At Howard Lake, the Jaguars volleyball team is up two games to none in a Central Minnesota Conference match against the HL-W-W Lakers. Game three started at 8:00.
Update: the Jaguars breezed past the Lakers in game three to complete the sweep and improve to 9-3 overall and 3-0 in the CMC. Game scores were 25-13, 25-15, 25-13. HL-W-W fell to 3-8 overall and 0-3 in the CMC.
Up next: a home match against an improving New London-Spicer next Tuesday.
At Melrose tonight, the Jaguars girls' tennis team lost 6-1 to the 9th-ranked team in the state. B-B-E is 6-10 overall heading into the Prairie Conference tournament on Saturday in Long Prairie. Melrose Area is 17-2.
