Terrific news on the enrollment front at B-B-E

Maybe it's something in the water attracting families to B-B-E?

It could be a variety of reasons, but whatever they are, they all add up to incredible enrollment news for B-B-E.

For the first time since the 1990s, the average amount of students in each grade in the elementary school outpaces the enrollment figures in the high school. Overall, the K-12 enrollment stands at 711 as of the opening day of school.

In the K-6 grades, B-B-E has 56 students in each grade, while at the high school that figure is 53 per grade in the 7-12 building.

Just in the past three weeks, the sixth grade (Class of 2019) has grown from 51 to 58 students!

Some media in the area made an editorial mention that the change to a 4-day week would be a "boon" to other school districts. They more or less stated that it would result in a big loss of students for B-B-E. Nice to see them eat crow.
