Jaguar Volleyball wraps up in Marshall

The Jaguars volleyball team beat St . Michael-Albertville in the final match of today to take 19th place overall. They defeated Andover in the opening match today, then lost to East Ridge in the second round before overpowering the Knights in the final match of the 17th-24th place pool. St. Michael-Albertville was co-champions of the Mississippi 8 Conference last season with Buffalo.

Friday night scores:
Wayzata won 25-12, 25-14
B-B-E defeated Bloomington Jefferson 25-19, 25-18
Saturday scores:
B-B-E defeated Andover 25-22, 25-17
East Ridge won 25-16, 25-18
B-B-E defeated St. Michael-Albertville 16-25, 25-18, 15-12

In the championship match of the Southwest Volleyball Challenge, #1-ranked Lakeville North (Class AAA) swept #1-ranked Marshall Area (Class AA) 25-18, 25-20.

Up next: a trip to Holdingford (3-1, 0-1 CMC) next Thursday for the second conference match of the year.
