Another win for the Jaguar wrestlers

Junior Josey Tensen got a pin for the Jaguars at 126 pounds that put his team up 18-3.

It was a solid team effort for the Jaguars wrestling team as they picked up a big win over Section 5A and neighboring rival Minnewaska Area tonight 42-30. Through the 160-pound weight division, the Jaguars held a 42-12 lead after junior Steven Mady got a quick pin in the first period. Isaiah Gilbert got his first varsity win with a pin early in the 2nd period (2:32) at 138 pounds. Overall it was an excellent match and very fun to watch. The varsity Jaguar wrestlers have a 10-day break until the Eden Valley-Watkins quadrangular on Friday, December 20.
