Tonight's games

Here we go again, the wind picked up a bit and it's blowing and drifting on some rural roads. The good thing is that the wind will die down after 5:00. As far as I can tell, tonight's activities should not be in jeopardy. However, please exercise caution while traveling. It's winter! And January! And we live in Minnesota! Don't get caught in a bad situation like some commuters in the Twin Cities did this morning.

The Jaguars boys' basketball team hosts Holdingford in a Central Minnesota Conference game. No radio stations are carrying it, but The Train is scheduled to have tomorrow's make-up game with Ashby. Also, the B-B-E Dazzlers dance team will perform at halftime tonight.

The Jaguars girls' basketball team travels to Rockford Area for a CMC contest.

The Jaguars wrestling team has a non-conference dual meet at Upsala high school against Royalton/Upsala (8-7).

I also noticed that the 7th/8th grade girls' basketball Jaguars host Sauk Centre at 4:30 at the high school. They're both off to a great start to the season, and it'll be interesting to see how they fare against the Mainstreeters.

Tomorrow (Friday) night: the Jaguars wrestling team hosts Rockford Area in a CMC dual that will be carried by Smooth Magic 107 FM. It will also be Parents Night. Other action besides the home boys' basketball game will include the Dazzlers traveling to Cottonwood (Lakeview high school) for a competition.

Saturday is another busy day for B-B-E students, but I'll get into that tomorrow.
