Conference meet!

Here's the poster in the high school cafeteria area put together by Greater Visions Photography of Belgrade.

The B-B-E Speech team is headed to Kimball Area high school for the 2015 Central Minnesota Conference championships. B-B-E is the defending conference champions in the CMC, but heading into today's meet they are underdogs against a deeper but equally talented Eden Valley-Watkins team.

Why speech? Being in speech gives your son/daughter a real competitive advantage when they:
1. Speak in class
2. Apply for colleges
3. Apply for scholarships
4. Interview for a job
5. Ask someone out
6. Do a radio interview
7. Audition for plays
8. Speak to the school board
9. Make a best man/maid of honor speech
10. Talk to the principal or other authority figure
11. Run for public office
12. Give a presentation to potential investors in their company they may some day own.

***Update: in a close race, EVW defeated BBE for first place. The top three scores were:
1st - EV-W 122
2nd - B-B-E 107
3rd - Rockford 90

Eden Valley-Watkins had 43 entries compared to just 21 for B-B-E, yet the B-B-E speech team managed to make quite a race out of it.
