In their home opener against MACCRAY, the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team squeezed out two exciting wins in extra points and then put the hammer down in game three to pick up a sweep. They played back from big deficits in games one and two before being in control for most of game three.
Final scores: 27-25, 26-24, 25-19 Jaguars beat the Wolverines in an exciting match! It was a hot one, with the home gym providing a sweltering experience for fans and players alike. The heat index this afternoon was in the 90s, and a great deal of the humidity crept into the school as fans poured in.

The Wolverines are 0-2 after losing their season opener 3-2 to a very talented Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart team. The Mustangs improved to 3-2 with that win by taking game one 26-24 and game five 15-11.
The Jaguars are now 1-2 overall and have a long break before heading south to the Southwest Minnesota Challenge tournament in Marshall on Sept. 10-11.
