Busy day! ending at HOF banquet

In a tournament loaded with talent and high-power teams from around Minnesota, the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team went 2-2 today. All four of their matches went the full three games, culminating with a tough 15-13 game-three loss to Alexandria in the third-place match.

Fast-forward a couple of hours, and I found myself at the Padua Pub taking in the first-ever Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa all-school Hall of Fame banquet. It was quite the event!! I have video to upload but won't get it posted until late tonight. I especially enjoyed meeting the HOF inductees who were present as well as their families.

Inducted to the B-B-E Hall of Fame are: Dean DeKok, Michele (Marthaler) Perkins, Dick Nelson, Sherwood Sagedahl, George Borgerding, Dennis Weimerskirch, Ralph Halvorson and the late Gregory Mohs.

Visiting with Margie Marthaler was a special treat!!! She has had a front-row seat to some incredible moments in Brooten Buccaneer school history.
