Playoff rankings are in
This morning it became official: the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team has earned a number one playoff seed for the upcoming Sub-Section 5A-West tournament.
Section 5A is divided up into four separate pods, with two in each sub-section. For the Jaguars, they are ranked number one in Sub-Section 5A-West-A and will host a quarterfinal-round match on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. They will face the winner of the Royalton-vs.-Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City play-in round match. Those two teams square off in Royalton on Tuesday night. The sub-section semifinals will be held at Long Prairie-Grey Eagle high school on Saturday afternoon, October 31. I have heard from sub-section officials that the times for those two semifinal matches in Long Prairie have not been set in stone yet.
Further playoff information and scheduling notes were published in this week's Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper. (Page four, for the curious)
