Friday update

It was quite a night for the B-B-E Jaguars baseball team, as they defeated New London-Spicer 4-0 on Friday to improve to 6-1 overall. The score was 0-0 after three innings, but in the bottom of the fourth the Jaguars plated three runs and went up 4-0 in the fifth. The Jaguars had five hits on the night, while the Wildcats were cuffed at the plate with just one hit between two B-B-E pitchers.

NL-S fell to 3-5 overall. The Jaguars are 5-1 in the Central Minnesota Conference, good for second place, and trail Maple Lake by a half game. Next is a home game with Holdingford (0-7, 0-4) on Monday at 4:30 p.m. The Jaguars host Maple Lake for a key CMC doubleheader on Thursday, May 5 starting at 4 p.m.

At NL-S's Little Crow Golf Course, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' golf team claimed another invitational title with a score of 384 earlier today.
