Baseball playoffs

In the "Final Three" of Section 6A, the Jaguars have a 3-2 lead in the top of the fourth inning over West Central Area.

Final score: WCA 7, B-B-E Jaguars 6. B-B-E finishes 19-7 overall, and they finished in third place (tied with Paynesville) in the Central Minnesota Conference along with third place in Section 6A. A very fine season, no doubt!

The Knights (14-9 overall) move on to the section championship series, where they play Parkers Prairie this afternoon. They need to win to force a second game and get a shot at the Class 1A state tournament.

**Fun fact: West Central Area is having by far their best baseball season since 1995...going deeper in the playoffs than any WCA baseball team in the last 21 years. It mirrors what happened with the Jaguars, who by far and away had their best season in school history.

**Update: Parkers Prairie won the section title with a 5-4 win over WCA today.
