Five game roller coaster!

The Jaguars huddle up after beating Pierz!

The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team won in five over visiting Pierz tonight! The Jaguars were simply incredible in game five!! They trailed 0-2 out of the gates but then roared ahead to take a 7-2 lead. Soon it was 10-5 and then downhill from there. Final score: B-B-E 15, Pierz 8!

The match went back-and-forth four every one of the first four games. It was rather incredible! Both teams hit and blocked one another and made every point a challenge. B-B-E had the edge in composure near the end and won game one by a 25-19 score.

Games two and three were neck-and-neck the whole way. Pierz took game two 26-24, and game three went to the visitors by a 27-25 score. The Jaguars came out focused and fired up in game four, taking an early 5-1 lead on consecutive kills by Ally Gruber and Katherine Mastey. That lead was a distant memory once Pierz snuck ahead 11-10. The Jaguars found an extra push and took game four 25-19 to set up the rubber match.
