Another baseball title!

The B-B-E Jaguars won the playoff title in the I-94 baseball league Babe Ruth division tonight. They earned the championship with a 5-1 win over Albany in Elrosa. Against I-94 teams this summer, the Jaguars went 6-1.

More coverage from the Babe Ruth baseball championship game will appear in the August 9 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper. I had too short of a turnaround (less than 10 hours) to both finish this week's newspaper and still include coverage on this game before the press deadline. At the same time, it was exciting to personally cover two youth baseball championship-level games in three nights at Saints Field!
