Friday Night Lights IX: playoff defeat

The B-B-E Jaguars football team had a short, 0-1 showing in the Section 4A playoffs. Tonight in the quarterfinals, the Jaguars traveled to top-seeded Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg. At halftime, the Fighting Saints led 55-13.

Final score: K-M-S 63, B-B-E 20.

At halftime, Kimball Area is ahead 19-14 at Swanville against No. 4-seeded Upsala/Swanville Area. *Update: the Cubs improve to 5-4 overall with a 27-20 win over the Patriots. In another Section 4A game, No. 3-seeded Mayer Lutheran beat Parkers Prairie 43-30.

Also, No. 2-seeded Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity defeated Browerville 37-18.
