Huge road win! And basketball round up

...and perhaps some wrestling too, if I can get a good look at wrestling scores for the week.

The B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team picked up a terrific road win tonight at Holdingford to open the Central Minnesota Conference schedule. After holding a slim 24-22 lead at halftime, the Jaguars had a dominant second-half performance on their way to a 59-47 win. The Jaguars shot 62 percent from the floor in the second half after shooting at a 40-percent clip in the first half. The win avenges a tough 52-50 loss on Holdingford's court to close out the regular season last March. The Huskers won that game on a three-pointer cashed with just five seconds left.

Holdingford falls to 1-4 overall.

B-B-E (2-1) has a very short turnaround when they host Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg tomorrow night in a rivalry border battle. At stake will be simple bragging rights, but they're important too!

K-M-S was 2-0 heading into their road game at Prinsburg tonight in Camden North Conference action.
