Snow...and a win!

It appears we've gotten at least 10 inches of snow today across the Bonanza Valley.

It also looks like we'll only get another inch or so of snow tonight. However, the wind is blowing like mad (25mph or so) while the temperature is dropping towards 13 degrees by 7 a.m. tomorrow.

At Goodhue tonight, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team defeated Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity 54-21 to advance to the championship game. They shot 32 percent from the floor and made seven three-pointers; the halftime score was 28-13.

The Jaguars (4-2) now take on powerhouse Goodhue (10-1) on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The Wildcats are the No. 1-ranked team in Class 1A on the latest QRF scale. In the last Minnesota Basketball News state rankings released on Wednesday, Goodhue is ranked No. 5.
