Outdoor track and field, speech!

The first outdoor track and field meet of the season is set for Thursday, April 4 at Minnewaska Area high school. The B-B-E Jaguars boys' and girls' track and field teams held their picture day on Wednesday under very mild conditions (temps hovered around 60 degrees) at our high school sports complex.

Also, track and field team captains were voted on by the team this week. Look for a photo of those five student-athletes in the April 4 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice.

And...can't forget to give a quick shout-out to the B-B-E speech team as they head to subsections on Thursday! The sub-section meet will be held at Annandale. B-B-E's speech team students got a huge chunk of front-page ink in this week's Bonanza Valley Voice. Check that out!

Lastly, I was asked and am happy to help out with a favor for the Sauk Centre Chamber of Commerce. They are holding a Designer Bag Bingo event on Saturday, April 13 at ElmerZ Convention Center in Sauk Centre.
