In response

Recently the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper received news of a credible threat to the operations of a local, community organization.

This morning, the Voice filed a police report with a Minnesota law enforcement agency in response to this threat. This report is strictly confidential, and to protect my sources its contents will never be disclosed.

I want to make it very clear that:

"The threat is being handled." 

It is refreshing to see adults (and adult leaders) make adult decisions. Let's hope it continues. Often, people need to adhere to the advice of "watch your own bobber!"
