Sports notes (and VIDEO)

Today the B-B-E Jaguars JV football team travels to Benson for a 5 p.m. game against the Braves.

Also today, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team travels to Hantho Township in rural Madison, MN to face the paired team Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd. The Jaguars have a shot at evening their record at 4-4 overall, which is tremendous.

Those two events were postponed on account of weather. The tennis match was moved to next Monday, while the JV football game was tentatively cancelled.

The lone varsity event for tomorrow (Tuesday) is a volleyball match at Sauk Centre.

Here's a video clip from the final minute of the second quarter at Maple Lake on Friday. It shows when the Jaguars fell back by a one-score margin to the Irish. The adversity continued into the third quarter, but the Jaguars rallied and never gave up!


It's a special thing to witness a team battle through adversity like that!
