B-B-E posts a 14, 30 percent decline
The Belgrade, Brooten and Elrosa zip codes posted the number 14 for new COVID-19 cases in the past week as reported by the Minnesota Department of Health. This represents a 30 percent decline in new cases compared to the previous week, when the local zip codes posted a 20.
For the local zip codes, the breakdown is:
Belgrade 56312 - 7 new cases (cumulative since January 2020 is 444)
Brooten 56316 - 7 new cases (cumulative since January 2020 is 225)
Elrosa 56325 - no new cases (cumulative since January 2020 is 34).
In the October 21 report, Belgrade 56312 posted 12 new cases, Brooten 56316 posted 7 new cases and Elrosa 56325 posted 1 new case.
The Sunburg 56289 zip code posted a zero this week. They had one new case reported in the October 21 report.
Some larger figures were posted by a few area zip codes. Some examples are: Melrose 56352 with 56 new cases (29 new last week), Paynesville 56362 with 34 new cases (27 new last week) and Sauk Centre 56378 with 63 new cases (36 new last week).
