Border battle tonight (*updates)
The B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team has one of their biggest games of the season coming tonight when they travel down Highway 55 to Paynesville Area. The Jaguars (3-1 Central Minnesota Conference) are in a virtual tie for first place with Eden Valley-Watkins (4-1), and they both trail front-runner Paynesville (9-5 overall, 3-0 CMC).
In other news...the Belgrade Lions has tentatively set a date of Sunday, March 6 for the annual Family Fun Day at B-B-E high school. Additional information about the event is forthcoming.
Tomorrow (Friday), the wrestling team is at the New London-Spicer invitational, and the girls' basketball team has a key conference game at Holdingford. The boys' basketball team has their second game in two nights as they host Pine River-Backus.
