Slow start turns into barn burner (VIDEO)

What a recovery! Although it fell short, that was a thoroughly exciting match to be a part of! Wow! I left the gym with a hoarse voice. That was satisfying.

After the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team fell flat in game one tonight, they recovered to give the No. 8-ranked MACCRAY Wolverines a battle and then some in what ended up as a 3-0 loss. Game one was rough to watch, as the Jaguars earned just three kills in a 25-10 loss.

Unforced errors were cut in half or more in game two, but the Wolverines ultimately won 25-23.

Here's a video featuring the final points scored in game two tonight:

In game three, a kill by Ava Mueller gave the Jaguars a 23-18 lead. MACCRAY fought back with four straight points to trail 23-22. Brooklyn Fischer then earned a kill to bring game point at 24-23. A fourth set was not meant to be, however, as the Wolverines had back-to-back kills on their way to a 26-24 set three win to complete the sweep and improve to 3-0 on the season. They opened 2022 with 3-0 wins over fellow Camden Conference teams Lakeview and Ortonville.

The Jaguars will recover from this and head down Highway 71 to our neighbors to the south, New London-Spicer, next Tuesday for a third straight non-conference match.

TOMORROW! We get Friday Night Lights I!!!! Who's jacked up for that? The game is in Murdock with a 7 p.m. kickoff! Spread the word!
