Tennis playoffs (VIDEOS)
Tennis coverage is forthcoming tonight from the section individual tournament.
Today six members of the B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team competed at the Section 6A individual tournament in Rogers. In round one, No. 15-seeded Lucy Trowbridge was defeated by No. 2-seeded Hailey Hokanson of Sauk Centre by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Annika Heieie, seeded No. 13, lost 6-0, 6-1 to No. 4-seeded Mya Mayhew of New London-Spicer.
At doubles play, No. 13-seeded Skylar Knight and Izzy Graham lost 6-0, 6-1 to No. 4-seeded Larissa Hoffarth and Bria Hoffarth of Osakis. The doubles team of Tiyana Schwinghammer and Presley Detloff, seeded No. 10, lost 7-5, 6-4 to No. 7-seeded Grace Jensen and Zoey Elwood of Minnewaska Area. The Schwinghammer-Presley duo finished the season with a fine doubles record of 12-8 overall.

Yesterday in the Section 6A Final Four, the Litchfield Dragons won 7-0 against Minnewaska Area in the semifinals before ending Osakis's season by defeating the Silverstreaks 6-1 in the championship. Osakis had defeated New London-Spicer 5-2 in their semifinal match.
