Two hours late AND...another game(s) canceled

As announced last night, B-B-E schools is two hours late today.

The word just came out a little bit ago that the girls' basketball game at home tonight with Pine River-Backus has been cancelled. I don't know if it will be made up or not. That's all I've got now. Busy day ahead.

**And the dominoes continue to fall. The Jackhammer wrestling invitational in Pequot Lakes tonight and tomorrow is also washed away by what the weather has brought us in Minnesota.

We have to be very thankful right now that our roads have cleared up in Jaguar Country (for the most part) and that our kids are in school. I learned that in the Pine River/Pequot Lakes area, they are battling with downed power lines over major roads. It's possible many of those schools in that region aren't even open at all today because of a loss of power. That would not be fun, and thankfully that's not what we are dealing with here.

We focus on the positive, and we straighten our backs in the face of adversity!! That is how you win each day.

Channeling some Coach Brad Goodwin here!!! Check it out (re-posted, recorded yesterday):

**More news... tomorrow's girls' basketball opponent, Minneota, has now lost their opportunity to play a game tonight just like we did. Their conference game tonight at Canby has been postponed.

**I just saw this afternoon that our B-B-E Jaguars are ranked No. 11 in the just-released Minnesota Basketball News state rankings. Minneota held at No. 4. We are 1-1, while they are 2-0.

*The boys' basketball game at Holdingford is a go tonight!!  They are absolutely chomping at it after what has now been a 10-day layoff.
