State tournament third-place game (VIDEO)

The B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team faces Hayfield in the third-place game of the Class 1A state tournament this morning. Tip-off at Concordia-St. Paul is at 10 a.m. Hayfield is the No. 2 seed in the tournament, while the Jaguars are the No. 5 seed.

The Jaguars trailed 7-6 at about 14 minutes to go. With 5:39 to go, the lead was 23-20 after Hayfield made two free throws.

 
Halftime: BBE 35, Hayfield 28. Scoring: Bree Thieschafer 6, Brooklyn Fischer 5, Tiyana Schwinghammer 7, Abby Berge 15 (that's all I see on the board).

With 9 minutes to go, BBE has a 51-43 lead in the second half. **With 1:38 left, the Jaguars have a 61-50 lead after Allie Dingmann canned two double bonus free throws (with 2:01 on the clock)...Coach Anderson just called a full timeout to settle the troops!!!!
