Bulldogs complete series sweeps, boys' golf 2nd at The Lynx
The B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch and baseball teams both suffered losses today at the hands of the Paynesville Area Bulldogs. The fastpitch team lost at the PAHS diamond by a score of 5-3 after they out-hit the host team 9 to 7 but committed too many defensive errors (4 compared to 2).
In Elrosa, the Bulldogs won 20-0 against our baseball team.
On Monday this week at Sauk Centre's Lynx National golf course, two rounds of 9 holes were shot that counted towards the Central Minnesota Conference standings. Brady Schwinghammer tied for fourth place overall with a 77, and the B-B-E Jaguars boys' golf team fired a 328 to take second place behind Osakis's 317. They travel to Benson tomorow for an 18-hole invitational.
Tomorrow the B-B-E Jaguars track and field teams will compete in the Central Minnesota Conference championships held at Holdingford high school. Action begins at 3:15 p.m.
Also tomorrow: the fastpitch team hosts Browerville in a non-conference game at 4:30 p.m. in Brooten. The baseball team faces Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on the road at Willie Reigstad field in Sunburg with first pitch at 5 p.m.
