Fastpitch Jaguars fall at K-M-S
Fresh off of a conference sweep against Royalton, the B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team lost 9-2 against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg tonight at Murdock. Faith Radermacher, Taylor Shleton, Kacey Fischer and Kadynce Haider all had hits for the Jaguars, who are now 2-5 overall. Mariah Koenig took the loss for the Jaguars but gave up just 6 hits to hard-hitting K-M-S. The game was scoreless through two innings before the Fighting Saints plated 7 runs in the bottom of the third.
K-M-S had just defeated Yellow Medicine East 6-3 earlier today. Yesterday the Fighting Saints swept state-ranked Lac qui Parle Valley yesterday in a Camden North Conference doubleheader and now hold a 7-2 overall record (6-2 Camden North).
NEXT: the Jaguars have a big game on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Sub-Section 3A-North rival Benson.
At New London-Spicer today, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' golf team had a solid day with an 8th-place finish out of 18 teams with a team score of 359. Brady Schwinghammer finished in a tie for 6th place with a 79.
